MERCÈ FERRÀS

Strategy management in social media

"I think Deltebre Dansa festival is a great bet to get dance and culture closer to the community by turning local people into key participants. An opportunity that’s often scarce when far away from established cultural hubs."

"Mercè is a mix between sensitivity, critical eye and the perfect dose of exquisite professionalism. She might not be the most visible figure of the festival - due to her shyness - but she will be the one behind the festival’s communication success.”

Mercè is a graduate in Advertising and PR and Market Research Techniques. She counts on more than ten years of experience working at communication and PR agencies. She has managed the communication of national and multinational clients of diverse sectors such as La Sirena, Danone, Unilever, Novartis (pharmacy sector) or RBA (publishing sector). In the beginning, her focus was on press and PR, but her focus switched to social networks and digital marketing in recent years. From then on, she has been planning and managing communication and social media strategies for several accounts such as Nesté Infantil, Laboratorios Ordesa o Alcon. After living in Barcelona for 11 years, she moved back to her motherland, la Terra Alta, to start working at Bluverd Comunicació together with Esther Benet and Oriol Gracià, both journalists. This is when she got introduced to the dreamy project of Deltebre Dansa festival.
