Presentation of the Open Stage Battle by the “Hermanas Gestring” who with their mantras and songs will enchant the audience so that they cannot stop dancing. For the second consecutive year, and given the success of the first edition, we open our stage to improvisation and the exaltation of urban art in the purest style of ‘hip-hop cockfights’ but without the competitive part . Improvised performances by some of the best dancers out there today. All the participants of the PRO workshops and the general public who want to celebrate, dance and share their movement, have an appointment at the Open Stage Night. A night of art, spontaneity, going on stage without prejudice and tasting all the creativity of Deltebre Dansa. An invitation to the stage to enjoy the dance. In this second edition of the Open Stage Night we want to turn this night into ‘The animal night’. Thus, a second solidarity night is established at the Festival which, in this case, will be in favor of the local animal organizations: DeltaRescat and Progat Deltebre. In this way, the public will be invited to bring food, medicines and various materials (blankets, medicines, drinkers and canteens…), which will be donated to these associations.

They started by generating pieces for Youtube and even WhatsApp, unique spaces, galleries and performances. They collaborated with other artists: the musician Sleepy James in “Aletra y Virtue se van de Balanegra”, the choreographer Juan Luis Matilla (Mopa) with “Ese de ahí te va a matar” or with the musician Miguel Marín in “Welcome to the Montgomery Experience”. They create “We’ll kill you” in Germany for the RootlessMovement Festival. In 2016 they won the CCM Pasoa2 with “GOOD GIRL”. They go to the Tanzhaus Zurich to create “A MUERTE” premiered in 2018. In 2019, they got married in a nightclub and participate in the Silent City project of Artscennico Performing Arts in Dortmund (Germany). They bet on music with the concert “ADORA A LAS HERMANAS GESTRING” based on Lorenzo Soria and Diego Caro. 2023 is their 10th anniversary and they celebrate with the musical “HACER AMOR” premiering at Teatros del Canal and giving workshops related to the play at Descalzinha Danza and Teatre Pradillo. They premiere the performance “NADA” at the ARCO Fair.
